Flats and Houses for Single People, Couples and Families

Flats & houses

Most of our 2 and 3 bed houses suitable for families are in the East Riding. Most of our 1 and 2 bed flats are in Hull. But there is a range across all our areas, so if you want to apply for a particular area, please tell us why on our online or paper application form.

Housing that does not have regular staff support on site is often referred to as ‘general needs’ or ‘affordable’ housing. Our ‘general needs’ houses and flats are predominantly in areas of private housing, whether owner-occupied or rented. We provide facilities to report repairs and pay the rent, and we ask that you keep your house and garden cared for and do not cause any neighbour nuisance or anti-social behaviour but, other than abiding by your tenancy agreement, your home and lifestyle is as independent as you wish.

Our flats

Our blocks of flats all offer a different range of services and amenities, depending on the style of the build. Some have their own front door, others have communal entrances. Most have communal green spaces that are cared for by us, and some have communal facilities, such as a laundry. Some of our sites have a mix of several flats. Some are general needs and others are designated for people over a certain age, such as 55 or 60, and have emergency alarm systems.

We are also always increasing our stock with new properties that fit with what we believe in – good quality and high standards of service. So, whilst we might not have the right property for you today, we could do in the future.
