Our Board & Financial Statements

HCHA’s Board is ultimately responsible for everything HCHA does. The Board has 7 volunteer members who have an interest in the Association’s aims and work and bring the skills and experience to guide the management team.
Board Members are elected at the Annual General Meeting by shareholders.
The Board meets once a month to make sure that we do what we promise and that we do it right.

Stuart Whyte
Chair
Stuart has been executive and non-executive director in several roles in Housing Associations, most recently Chair of Leeds Federated HA and Harrogate HA, with knowledge of Hull and the East Riding as a former Chair of Gateway, Hull.
Phillip Curran
Vice Chair
Phillip’s current role as Head of Housing for Age UK follows extensive experience in housing, as well as experience on other Boards, including local authorities, YMCA and CIH.
Jill Hellings
Jill was the Head of Corporate Services and Company Secretary at Leeds Federated Housing Association for 20 years. Her remit covered people management, organisational development, leadership, and governance.
Jill was also Chair and Board Member at the Housing Diversity Network.
Martin Gore
Bringing expertise as a member of several Risk Management and Audit Committees, Martin’s career as an accountant in the public and private sectors has been followed by various Non-Executive Director posts in other organisations, including the health sector.
Faye Williams
Faye’s current position as Head of Treasury and Financial Reporting at a registered provider was preceded by an accountancy career spanning over more than 25 years, with 20 of those years in a senior position in the housing sector.
Simon Warwick
Simon is an experienced Project Manager, CRM professional and management accountant, with a successful track record of delivering business system projects within the private and public sectors both in the UK and globally.
Kellie Lemonidis
With an extensive career in legal practices spanning 25 years, Kellie currently works in the development team of a housing association, where she liaises with solicitors’ councils planning departments and developers to take potential s106, land led and off the shelf property schemes in Hull, East Riding and North Yorkshire through planning and legal acquisitions.
